The Rice County Fair is almost here!
Our hours will be different during the fair.
The Museum will be CLOSED on Monday. July 18.
The Museum and Harvest and Heritage Halls will be open on Tuesday, July 19 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
The museum and outbuildings (including the church, cabin, school, Harvest Hall, and Heritage Hall) will be open
Wednesday: 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM
Thursday: 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM
Friday: 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM
Saturday: 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM
Sunday: 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
Please join us during the Rice County Fair to visit our outbuildings; see historic demonstrations of skills like spinning, blacksmithing, quilt making, and more; do our RCHS Museum scavenger hunt; and play games by the log cabin from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM everyday.
In addition, RCHS would love to celebrate its 90th Anniversary with any area residents turning 90 or older in 2016. There will be a celebration in the new Carlander Family Room from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Thursday, July 21.
Admission to the Outbuildings is free during the fair, and admission to the museum is reduced during the fair, with family admission capped at $5.00.
The Research Room will be closed from July 18 – July 24.
