9,000 Years of Irish History, the Abridged Version with Tim Madigan
Thursday, November 16th, at 7pm at the Rice County History Museum
Stop in November 16th to hear Tim Madigan as he takes the on an interesting and fun review of Irish history in Ireland and America. It covers major historical themes and uses humor to touch on Irish character and stereotypes. Beginning at the end of the last Ice Age in Europe though early Celtic settlements to the Irish Golden Age, then to the 1,000 years of invasion, genocide, slavery and famine. The presentation concludes with a review of the Irish revival and culture in the 19th and 20th Centuries, with a final stop with the Irish in Minnesota.
