RCHS’s 5th Annual “A Night At The Museum”

Saturday, October 7, 2017
4:00 PM to 7:00 PM

Come and see history brought to life at the fourth annual A Night at the Museum event, hosted by the Rice County Historical Society in its museum and historic outbuildings at 1814 NW Second Ave., from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 7.

This event will feature many costumed characters from Rice County’s past. These characters will be in the log cabin, the schoolhouse, Harvest and Heritage Halls and the Museum of History. There will also be flashlight tours offered in the Heritage and Harvest Halls where artifacts from early-day county businesses and farming equipment are kept. There will be horse-drawn wagon rides, food, and music around a crackling fire ring as well as a passport clue-hunt for children with prizes offered. Great fun for the whole family!

The cost of this Family Friendly event is $3.00 for adults and $1.00 for youngsters 12 and under. Hotdogs, cider, and cookies are sold for a minimal extra cost. Parking for this event is free.

For questions about the event, call the RCHS museum at 507-332-2121.
