“The Fog of War: Perceptions and Realities of the US-Dakota War of 1862”

Historian/Educator Tim Madigan will offer his PowerPoint presentation about this tragic time in Minnesota history. He will lay out the time-frame and explain various reasons and events leading up to the war, which resulted in the deaths of several hundred settlers, Native Americans and soldiers in 1862 in Minnesota.

This program will be held at the Carlander Family room at the Rice County Historical Society, 1814 2nd Ave NW, Faribault.  Admission is $3.00/Non-Members. Free for RCHS Members.
