Victorian Fashion with Rae Lundquist

Join the Rice County Historical Society and Rae Lundquist for the talk “Victorian-era Fashion” on August 13th at 6pm at the RCHS Museum.
Have you ever looked at an item of clothing in your closet and thought, “Wow, this looks SO out of date”?
People in the past had that experience too. Fashion trends changed over the years, and people did their best to keep up. Learn about the changes in fashion for both men and women in the late 1800s in the latest installment of our Thursday Night Speaker Series!
Rae Lundquist is the owner and sewist of Dreamstitcher Custom Costume, and is an expert in historic sewing. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn about historic fashion from an expert.
This event is free for members and $5 for nonmembers. Register by calling 507-332-2121 or emailing rchs@rchistory.org.
This talk is rescheduled from November 2025.
